What we do

Two specialties. Every everyday job.

The trucks say it plainly: Tesla chargers, lighting and ceiling fans, Generac home standby generators. New construction and small jobs, residential, commercial and industrial.

Certified Generac dealer

Generac standby generators

When a tropical storm takes the grid down for days, a standby generator brings the house back on its own within seconds. As a certified Generac dealer, Covenant Power sizes the unit to what you actually need to run, sets it where it’s safe and serviceable, ties it in through an automatic transfer switch and keeps it ready with maintenance visits.

  • Load calculation and generator sizing
  • Natural gas or propane units
  • Automatic transfer switch installation
  • Placement away from doors, windows and vents
  • Generator repair and routine maintenance

Certified Tesla installer

Tesla & EV chargers

A Level 2 charger needs its own dedicated circuit, a panel with room for it and a clean route to where you park. Covenant Power is certified to install Tesla charging stations, and it wires Level 2 chargers for other EVs too, checking the panel and service first so the charger works without tripping anything else.

  • Tesla Wall Connector installation
  • Level 2 circuits for any EV
  • Panel capacity check before install
  • Garage, carport and driveway locations
  • Tesla Powerwall (ask us)

Straight answers

Electrical questions, answered.

What should I do if I smell burning or see sparks from an outlet or panel?

Turn off the breaker for that circuit, or the main breaker, if you can do it safely, then call an electrician. If there is fire or smoke, get everyone out and call 911.

How does a Generac home standby generator work?

A standby generator is permanently installed outside and wired to your home through an automatic transfer switch. When utility power fails, it starts on its own and takes over within seconds; when power returns, it switches back and shuts down.

What do I need to install a Tesla Wall Connector at home?

You need a dedicated 240-volt circuit sized for the charger, room in your panel for a two-pole breaker, and enough spare capacity on your service. An installer checks all three before mounting the Wall Connector.

How do I know if my electrical panel needs to be replaced?

Warning signs include breakers that trip often or won’t reset, a panel that feels warm, buzzing or burning smells, rust or corrosion, a panel with no open spaces, and old fuse boxes. Any of these is worth a professional look.

Can a ceiling fan go where my light fixture is now?

Often, but the box has to be rated to support a fan. A standard light box isn’t built for the weight and motion, so the box is usually replaced with a fan-rated one during the install.

Who licenses electrical contractors in Florida?

Florida electrical contractors are licensed through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and its Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board. You can look up any license on the DBPR website.
